Kim Sae Ron’s death has sparked a major controversy and trouble for the It’s Okay To Not Be Okay actor Kim Soo Hyun. With several twists and turns in the scandal, the actor has reportedly been edited out of the shoe Good Day. Few pictures have surfaced on the internet which has now gone viral.
MBC’s variety show Good Day’s episode on June 6 has removed every trace of Kim Soo Hyun, amid its growing controversy. Several pictures have surfaced on social media. The episode which consisted the celebrity personal items auction and the group track recording session featured highlights such as Hong Jin Kyung’s gum sha tool and Ahn Sung Jae’s knife drawing tools.
Previously Kim Soo Hyun was previously sedated at the centre during the group’s auction meeting was edited out from the broadcast. Footage of him was removed throughout the editing and he did not participate in the group. Netizens took to comment section to express their views and one user wrote, “In the future, all content related to Kim Soo Hyun from June to July will also be completely cut out. The production team has decided to edit more carefully and minimize his appearance. #KimSooHyun”. Another user wrote, “This bubble in which men live where they are the victims of women and this disgusting brotherhood protection among them no matter the case... it never ceases to amaze me. KSH is going through a very difficult time? What about the decade that Kim Saeron went through?”. He had recently did a press meet in which he revealed he was in a relationship with the late actress Kim Sae Ron, but denied that he was paedophile.
According to several reports, Disney Hotstar has postponed the premiere of Knock-Off season 1, which was scheduled to release for next month. Reportedly, the filming for the season 1 was already completed and had planned to wrap up season 2 by next month.
Earlier, Disney Hotstar recently postponed the upcoming K-drama Knock Off, leaving its future uncertain. Production was originally set to begin in April 2025, but the creators have now expressed doubts about moving forward. Since the show’s release has now been delayed, the financial burden is expected to fall entirely on Kim Soo Hyun. If the show gets scrapped, then the Queen of Tears actor might have to face fine up to ₩18.0 billion KRW (about $12.3 million USD), ie, ₹10,527,631,377.00 (INR) around 10 crore.
The controversy began when during an appearance on YouTube channel, late actress Kim Sae Ron’s aunt made serious allegation against the Queen of Tears actor saying that the duo were dating when the Kim Sae Ron was only a minor , 15 and Kim Soo Hyun was 27 then. Since, then, the South Korean star has been come under fire and calls for boycott are rising day by day. Kim Sae Ron was found dead in her Seoul apartment on February 16.
