Jayam Ravi Discloses His Troubled Relationship With Aarti: Did Not Have Control Over Finances

Jayam-Aarti Divorce Row: On September 9, the PS 2 actor took to his social media account to share the news of his separation from his wife Aarti, 15 years after their marriage. The news came as a shock to the fans of the actor. Recently, in an interview he disclosed few details about his troubled relationship.

What did Jayam Ravi reveal about his relationship?

In an interview with Filmibeat, Jayam Ravi has revealed that he has faced a lot of disrespect from his estranged wife Aarti and her family. He also pointed out that despite having a flourishing career, he did not have a separate bank account and his wife has control over his finances. He stated that he did not have any control over his expenses and had to defer to his ex-wife.

The situation aggravate further when his mother-in-law who produced some of his films remarked them as it for losers, despite performing well at the box office. He also shared that the maids were treated much better in than him.

Post the announcement of divorce and allegation against each other, Jayam Ravi was spotted arriving at the Mumbai airport. The actor even greeted the paparazzi airport.

The actor returned from shooting for his films in Chennai. As per paparazzi account  Viral  Bhayani, “the actor has recently shifted base to Mumbai, opened his office here, and is in talks with major production houses for upcoming projects.” Talking to the paparazzi, the actor shared that he is gearing up for his film Brothers on Diwali and will also be prepping for a few hindi films. 

Jayam Ravi and Aarti got married in 2009. The estranged couple share two sons Aarav and Aryan. For the unversed, Aarti is the daughter of noted television producer Sujatha Vijayakumar.
