Rishabh Pant has successfully returned to action in white-ball cricket, and his next aim is to return to the longer format of the game. The India wicketkeeper-batter has his eyes set on the Duleep Trophy, and Pant has been putting in the effort to make a comeback in red-ball cricket. The India Stumper has been sweating it out in the nets and preparing for the upcoming domestic tournament.

Rishabh Pant Sweats It Out in the Nets Ahead of Red-Ball Comeback in 2024 Duleep Trophy

As the season of domestic cricket is all set to begin, Rishabh Pant has been gearing up to compete in Test Cricket format. The Team India wicketkeeper-batter has been gearing up for a comeback in the 2024 Duleep Trophy, and he has been putting up the effort by sweating it hard in the nets. The Stumper posted a video on the social media platform Instagram. He hones his skills, including his beautiful drives, lofted shots, ramp-up hits and sweep shots.  

"I try not to have expectations because they can tend to tear you apart. I try to work as hard as I possibly can and give every ounce of a hundred percent & keep Learning from it," Rishabh Pant captioned the video.

Rishabh Pant will be a part of India B as the wicketkeeper, which will be led by Abhimanyu Easwaran. Other superstar cricketers like Yashasvi Jaiswal, Sarfaraz Khan, Mukesh Kumar, Nitish Reddy, and Washington Sundar will also feature on the team.

After coming off the horrific car accident, Rishabh Pant made a return to white-ball cricket in this year's IPL season with the Delhi Capitals. He went on to feature Team India at the T20 World Cup and eventually won the title at the Kensington Oval in Barbados after defeating South Africa in a nail-biting finale.

Rishabh Pant's ultimate aim will be the Bangladesh series, and the selectors will keep a close eye on the Dulee Trophy to elect the squad members. The wicketkeeper-batter could also be a part of Team India in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy Series, as he is one of Men in Blue's premier red-ball batters.
