Shaheen Shah Afridi shares first statement after being dropped from the Pakistan team
The decision to drop Shaheen Shah Afridi and other players comes on the back of Pakistan's dismal performance in the first Test against England.
Pakistan 's star pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi has spoken out for the first time since being dropped from the team for the second and third Tests against England. Afridi took to Twitter to wish the team good luck and express his support for a strong comeback.

Shaheen Shah Afridi's message reads: "Wishing Team Pakistan the best of luck! Rooting for a strong comeback. We're all cheering for you!" This comes after the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) dropped Afridi, along with several other underperforming players, including former captain Babar Azam , pace bowler Naseem Shah, and spinner Abrar Ahmed.
The decision to drop Shaheen Shah Afridi and other players comes on the back of Pakistan 's dismal performance in the first Test against England, which they lost by an innings and 47 runs in Multan. Afridi himself has been struggling with form, and his exclusion from the team was seen as a move to shake things up and bring in fresh talent.
The second Test match between Pakistan and England is scheduled to take place from October 15 to 19 in Multan. The pitch that was used in the first Test match will be utilized in the second Test as well.
