Rishabh Pant , the Delhi Capitals skipper, posted some of his late-night thoughts over the social media platform 'X'. With the IPL 2025 Auction in mind, the wicketkeeper-batter posted a question, asking if he enters the mega auction pool, will he be sold to a team? And if he does get sold, what will be his price tag?
"If go to the auction. will I be sold or not and for how much ??" Pant posted on the social media platform 'X' (Formerly Twitter).
The 27-year-old has been a part of the Delhi Capitals franchise since 2016 and received the captaincy reins in 2021. He missed the entire 2023 season as he was recovering from a horrific car accident. Rishabh eventually returned to cricket in the IPL 2025 season, and he has been in spectacular form.

If Rishabh Pant enters the IPL 2025 Auction pool, he could go up for an extensive price tag, as his resilience and tenacity have helped the Indian Cricket Team big-time. He is also a reliable man behind the wickets, which was on display during Team India's T20 World Cup -winning campaign in 2024.
The wicketkeeper-batter will be in action in red-ball cricket when Team India locks horns against New Zealand in a home series. The three-match Test series will feature India's current top stars Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli , and Jasprit Bumrah will serve as the vice-captain.
