France to Send Ship to Gaza to Support Hospitals

French President Emmanuel Macron announced that France will dispatch a Navy ship to provide aid to hospitals in the Gaza Strip. The ship is set to depart from the French military port of Toulon in the Mediterranean Sea within the next 48 hours. Macron also mentioned that a French plane will deliver medical equipment to Gaza via Egypt. This commitment to humanitarian aid follows Macron's visit to Israel, where he expressed France's support and solidarity in the wake of the recent Hamas attack on October 7. During his Middle East tour, Macron held discussions with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, visited Jordan's King Abdullah II, and reiterated his call for a two-state solution for Israel and Palestine, emphasizing the need for a peaceful coexistence.
