IDF breaks decades-long Barrier, engages in Gaza

IDF breaks decades-long Barrier, engages in intense combat within Gaza city. The ground operations launched by IDF on 27 October are now being carried out in densely populated Gaza City as war entered day 32. Operation Iron Sword was launched by Israel on October 07, hours after deadly attack by terrorists of Hamas which killed over 1400 people inside Israel in coordinated attack from air, water and land.
On the morning of October 7th, approximately 70 terrorists affiliated with Hamas infiltrated the area of Kfar Aza, which is located just 500 meters from the Gaza border. During this incursion, no one managed to escape, as individuals were either killed or taken hostage by the Hamas militants. Tragically, 62 civilians lost their lives, and another 17 were abducted. The terrorists launched their attack from multiple directions, breaching the area's perimeter, and it took hours for the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) to regain control and secure the region from the Hamas occupation. This event was marked by the horrific targeting of children by the Hamas terrorists.
