Inside EAM Jaishankar’s meeting with Putin

EAM S Jaishankar on December 27 held a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow. This interaction between the Russian President and India’s Foreign Minister was particularly special. Normally, President Putin only holds meetings with his counterparts but breaking the norm, he met EAM Jaishankar. During the ‘special’ meeting with EAM Jaishankar, Russian President invited PM Narendra Modi to visit Russia next year. Notably, EAM Jaishankar is on an official five-day visit to Russia starting December 25.
