All you need to know about Ayodhya Airport

Ahead of the consecration ceremony of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.PM Modi is set to inaugurate Ayodhya's airport. Ayodhya's Maharishi Valmiki International Airport Ayodhya Dham is named after the legendary poet Maharishi Valmiki celebrated as an author of Ramayana. The cost of the first phase of construction for the airport is estimated to be approximately Rs 1,450 crore IndiGo and Air India Express will operate inaugural flights to the newly opened airport. Both the airlines have already announced flights from Delhi, Mumbai and Ahmedabad to Ayodhya in Jan 2024. As per reports, the concept behind the airport aims to reflect the spirit of Ram Mandir. The terminal features decorative columns detailing key events from the Ramayana.
