Ayodhya prepares for Mega Deepotsav celebrations

This year, on the Diwali eve, Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh is all set to host the mega-event Deepotsav. This Deepotsav is expected to see around 24 lakh Diyas being lit on the bank of River Saryu at Ram ki paidi in Ayodhya. This morning, the organisers of the Deepotsav also flagged off a shobha yatra for the celebration. About 16 tableaux took part in the event. In terms of security arrangements, the area has been divided in 14 police zones. Police in Ayodhya have used artificial intelligence to carry out the security arrangements. Apart from this, this Lord Ram's homecoming episode is also being recreated in the event today. Notably, Diwali is celebrated after Lord Rama, Laxman and Goddess Sita returned from 14 years of exile.
