Centre urges state to prepare as Covid cases rise

Amid the rising cases, the Central government has urged the State governments to make the adequate health arrangements. In Kerala, 10 Covid deaths were reported between December 1 to Dec 17 December. On December 16, Kerala recorded 302 cases marking the highest as compared to 109 on December 10 in the state.The Karnataka government has also mandated masks for individuals aged 60 and above.
