How's the Air Quality in different cities

The air quality remained a concern for citizens across the nation as several cities recorded AQIs ranging from 'poor' to 'severe'. 
The overall air quality in the National Capital continued to be in the ‘severe category’ for the fifth straight day on November 6. According to data issued by the System of Air Quality Forecasting and Research (SAFAR), air quality was recorded at 488. A layer of haze enveloped Mumbai on as air quality deteriorated. The overall AQI of the city stood at 301, as per SAFAR India. Category-wise, the AQI remained in the ‘very poor’ category. People have been advised to avoid prolonged outdoor visits.

Earlier, the Commission for Air Quality Management on Nov 05 decided to invoke Stage IV of the GRAP in entire Delhi. Air Quality Commission said that Stage IV will be implemented in addition to the restrictions placed under Stage I to III.
