Nitish criticised for 'sexist remarks' on women

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is facing a lot of criticism for his objectional remarks on women made during a speech in the Bihar assembly while talking about the need for caste-based reservation. During his address, Nitish made controversial remarks while attempting to explain the role of education and women in population control. Soon after his remarks, massive outrage erupted as several BJP leaders criticised the CM's remarks and asked for his resignation. Several political leaders across parties also condemned Nitish for making such a vile comment. After facing a huge backlash, Kumar apologised for using derogatory language outside and inside the assembly. However, the uproar did not die down with his apology and the opposition is still demanding for resignation.
