PM Modi's Big Vijayadashmi Message
On the occasion of Dussehra (24 October) PM Modi has a special message for the nation. He took on the casteist forces and emphasised that nationalism must triumph all.
'We should take note that today's Ravan Dahan shouldn't be only about burning of Ravan's effigy but also forces that are responsible to create divide in the society, forces that try to divide maa Bharati in the name of casteism and regionalism. This Dahan should be of forces which are not responsible for nation's development. Vijayadashami's festival should not only mark as Ram's victory over Ravan but nation's victory over evil forces.'
On Ram temple, PM Modi said, "Today, we are fortunate to see Lord Ram's temple being constructed on Ram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya after a long wait. It is a sign of victory of our patience," he said.
