As per a report in Cricbuzz, BCCI is planning to hold the IPL auction in Dubai in December this year, The exact date of the auction is yet to be finalised. Franchises are yet to receive any kind of formal notification but Dubai is being plotted as the next venue for the auction. Last time also it was mooted that the auction could take place in Istanbul but eventually, Kochi emerged as the winner. A tentative date of December 15 or 19 is contemplated to be the date but a call is yet to be taken. After the success of its inaugural edition, the Women's Premier League auction could be slated for December 9 and it is likely to be hosted in India.
