'Giving back to the society' says NZ Cricketer
Ahead of the India-New Zealand match that is scheduled to be held on October 22, New Zealand players interacted with the Chennai Corporation Government School students at Chepauk Stadium in Chennai.
"It has been awesome... It gives us an excuse to get out of the hotel, train, and play...It is really nice to give back to some kids...We hope we can inspire the next generation of players," said Mark Chapman.
New Zealand faced England in the World Cup opener and had the best start as they defeated the World Champions convincingly.
New Zealand are currently second in the points table, behind India with 3 wins in their 3 games, Same as India. Before facing New Zealand India will face Bangladesh on 19th October
