He took a jibe by writing "Pakistan Zindabhaag," on X, implying that the team would depart for home following its last league stage match, which is scheduled to take place on November 11, 2023, against England. The post brought in many reactions and subsequently arguments between fans from both sides transpired. Sehwag, however, did not go quiet and came back to further take a jibe at Pakistan. Highlighting a fan's Tweet, he ridiculed the Pakistan bowling attack of post Wasim Akram phase.
