IPL 2025: Avesh Khan Receives Clearance From BCCI Medical Staff, Set To Join Lucknow Super Giants' Camp

The Lucknow Super Giants have received a massive boost for their ongoing IPL 2025 campaign after one of their premier fast bowlers received clearance to join the camp. Acesh Khan, who has not been in action since January, had discomfort in his right knee because of his workload management throughout the domestic season.

Avesh Khan Receives Clearance From BCCI To Return To Action

Before the IPL 2025 season could begin, the Lucknow Super Giants ran into a huge problem. Several of their players are currently injured and unavailable for action, and they have been mixing things up by picking up certain players for the job until their principal players are up and running once again.

Indian fast bowler Avesh Khan has received clearance from the BCCI to participate in the IPL 2025 season. As per ESPNCricinfo, Avesh had issues with his right knee and has been rehabbing at the BCCI's Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru. But he has now received the green signal from the medical staff and will now join the Lucknow Super Giants for the IPL 2025 season. While it is unknown whether Avesh will be a part of LSG's next match-up, the fast bowler is available for selection in the game.

Lucknow Super Giants Did Not Have A Favourable Start To IPL 2025

The Lucknow Super Giants suffered a massive defeat at the hands of the Deli Capitals in the IPL 2025 season opener clash. LSG looked poised for a win at one stage with their power-packed action with the bat, as well as taking up early scalps with the ball to derail DC's momentum. But one man changed the game and turned the tables in the Capitals' favour. Ashutosh Sharma delivered a finisher's knock to cap things off in favour of Delhi, and the fans were treated to thrilling neck-to-neck action in Vizag.  

With the season opener clash in the rear-view mirror, the Lucknow Super Giants will go up against the Sunrisers Hyderabad in an away clash on March 27, 2025, at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium.
