Hamas Doesn't Represent Whole Of Palestine

The United States issued a stern warning to Iran to avoid attacks that would widen the Israel-Hamas war. "If Iran or its proxies attack U.S. personnel anywhere, make no mistake, we will defend our people." Secretary of State Antony Blinken said while addressing the United Nations Security Council Tuesday. The United States has expressed increasing concern that the escalating war will spark a wider conflict in the region, including attacks on American troops.

Blinken's warning came after the United Nations chief warned at a high-level U.N. meeting that the situation in the Middle East is growing more dire by the hour. U.N. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres warned that the risk of the Gaza war spreading through the region is increasing as societies splinter and tensions threaten to boil over.
