Rain in Delhi-NCR expected to cut air pollution
Delhi-NCR received light to moderate rainfall in the early hours of November 10. The downpour brought the temperature further down in the city. It is also expected to bring some respite from the air pollution in the area.
The rainfall in the national capital comes amid the Delhi government's ongoing efforts to implement the idea of 'artificial rain' to curtail the pollution situation in the city. Currently, Stage IV of the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) has been implemented in the national capital after the city's air quality plummeted to the 'severe plus' category.
