Himanta Biswa Sarma Exclusive on ULFA peace deal

The central government, Assam government and the pro-talks faction of the United Liberation Front of Asom (ULFA) signed a historic tripartite peace deal on December 29, 2024. Republic's Arnab Goswami talked to Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma about the significance of the deal. Hailing the deal as gamechanger for Assam and the Northeast, Sarma said that peace deal was going help fulfill PM Modi's dream of mainstreaming Northeast.
