Virat Kohli eyes Sachin Tendulkar's record

India thrashed high-flying South Africa in match number 37 of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 on Sunday at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata. India rode on a sensational 49th ODI ton from Virat Kohli, who equalled the legendary Sachin Tendulkar. Meanwhile, a second successive fifty by Shreyas Iyer helped India post a challenging score of 326/5 on a tricky surface. Keshav Maharaj was the best performer for SA, picking 1/30 from 10 overs. Having already equaled Sachin's record, Virat will now be eyeing to break more records going ahead in the tournament. With one more group stage game to go against Netherlands and a semi-final game would give Virat a platform to aim for the 50th ODI 100 and will also aim for one special record set by the master blaster
