Telangana: Under-construction stadium collapses

Three people were killed and 10 others were injured after a portion of an under-construction stadium collapsed in Telangana on Monday. The rescue operations are underway at the stadium in Moinabad village of Ranga Reddy district. Visuals from the spot showed excavators clearing the debris at the indoor stadium. The reason behind the accident is still unknown and an investigation has been initiated. The accident come days before the state goes for the elections. Telangana goes to the polls on November 30, with results to the 119-member assembly to be declared along with 4 other states on December 3. Congress and BJP are attacking the ruling BRS over its mis-governance in the state. BJP in its manifesto has said that there will be an inquiry by a retired Supreme Court judge into the corruption allegations against the BRS government.
