CCTV footage shows the vehicle first spotted outside Faridabad’s Asian Hospital at 7:30 a.m. on Monday. It crossed the Badarpur toll into Delhi by 8:13 a.m., and was seen near a petrol pump in Okhla Industrial Area at 8:20 a.m. The car entered the Red Fort parking lot at 3:19 p.m., where it remained for nearly three hours. At 6:22 pm., it exited the lot and moved toward the Red Fort. Just 24 minutes later, at 6:52 pm, the explosion occurred while the car was still in motion.

Lal Qila Car Blast Live: The total number of people injured in the attack is 25, out of which four people are critically injured and one person is admitted in trauma centre. Two females are also among those injured. While the youngest person to be injured is a 21 year old, the oldest injured person is 55 years old.

Red Fort Blast Live: Among the 12 people who were killed in the horrific blast, 9 bodies were fully recovered. Meanwhile, three dead bodies were only recovered in parts like limbs and abdomen. The identity of the three bodies have not been verified.

The youngest dead body has been identified to be that of a 30-year-old man, while the oldest person to die is 55 years old.

Red Fort Blast Live: A massive search operation is being carried out at the Al Falah University in Faridabad. Suspect Dr Umar was a doctor at the Al Falah Medical College. Delhi Police is checking CCTV cameras at the university.

Delhi Blast Live Updates: The Uttar Pradesh Police ATS, Jammu and Kashmir Police and Lucknow Police are conducting joint raids at several locations in Lucknow in the wake of the blast that rocked Delhi on November 10.

Jammu and Kashmir Police conducted the house of a doctor named Parvez Ansari in Lucknow. “No one has been arrested so far,” Lucknow Police said. According to sources, Parvez has connections with Dr. Muzammil.

Lal Qila Blast Live: Blast suspect Dr Umar Nabi's sister-in-law, Muzamila, said Umar “wasn't that kind of man”. She added, "We faced a lot of struggles to get him educated. We worked hard so that he could stand on his own two feet and take care of us. I cannot believe all this. He was engaged but he was not married yet. He had not been home for the last 2 months...He didn't have many friends. He only used to study. That is all I know."

Lal Qila Car Blast Live, Nov, 2025: Blast suspect Dr. Umar Nabi's sister-in-law, Muzamila, said, “Security forces have picked up my husband, brother-in-law and mother-in-law. They asked us about the whereabouts of Umar. We said he is in Delhi. Then they took the three away for questioning. We last spoke to Umar last Friday...He was very attached to my children and loved them a lot. Whenever he visited home, he used to be busy with Cricket. He loved Cricket.”

Further, Muzamila said that she does not know Kashmiri doctor Adil Ahmad Rather, an accused in the seizure of explosives in Faridabad.

Additionally, the FCDO advises against all travel to the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, except for travel by air to and from the city of Jammu, and travel within the city of Jammu.

The FCDO also warns against all but essential travel to the state of Manipur, including the capital Imphal, due to ongoing violent ethnic clashes and curfews in the region. He told police he sold it 1.5 years ago to Devendra of Okhla, who later sold it in Ambala. Gurugram and Ambala police are investigating, sharing details with other agencies.

The vehicle, a white petrol/CNG car registered in 2014, has been traced back to Mohd Salman, who has been taken into custody by the police. 

Salman, the first owner of the car, claimed that he had sold the vehicle to an unknown individual. The police are now probing to track down the buyer.

The owner of the car has been identified as Salman. During interrogation, he stated that he had sold the car further and the person to whom he sold it is being searched.

Due to the blast, 3-4 vehicles were damaged, and people also got injured, and some died. As per Hospital sources, eight people have died so far. Some of the injured are being treated here. We have launched a thorough investigation, keeping all angles open. Delhi Red Fort Blast LIVE: The National Security Guard (NSG) team has arrived at the spot near gate no 1 of the Red Fort Metro station in Delhi with bomb disposal equipment, where the deadly blast killed at least 13 people and injured multiple others.

The US State Department on Monday reacted to the explosion near delhi’s red fort, saying it is "closely monitoring the situation" and stands ready to provide consular assistance.

Delhi Red Fort Blast LIVE: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has condoled the deaths of people in the deadly blast that occurred near the Red Fort Metro Station. In a post on X, said, “Condolences to those who have lost their loved ones in the blast in Delhi earlier this evening. May the injured recover at the earliest. Those affected are being assisted by authorities. Reviewed the situation with Home Minister Amit Shah Ji and other officials.”

Delhi Red Fort Blast LIVE: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh expressed grief over the incident, saying, “The car blast incident in Delhi is extremely painful and disturbing. At this moment of immense grief, I extend my sincerest condolences to the families of the deceased. Praying for the speedy recovery of those injured.”

Delhi Red Fort Blast LIVE: Union Home Minister Amit Shah has arrived at the LNJP Hospital to meet the victims and the families of the victims. He will also be speaking to the hospital authorities. 

Union Home Minister Amit Shah addressed shared information following the blast in Delhi. He also confirmed that he will be visiting the spot and the hospital to access the situation.

Sharing information following the deadly blast, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that around 7 pm on Sunday, a Hyundai i20 car had a blast. The Union Home Minister confirmed that he will be visiting the site and the hospital and access the situation. 

The Delhi Police have intercepted one suspect following the deadly blast near Delhi's Red Fort Metro Station. According to sources, the blast occurred in a slow moving car, which headed towards Red Fort and was intercepted at the signal. The suspect was seen inside the car prior to the blast. The suspect was taken out from the car after his vehicle was moving unusually slow. The law enforcement agencies are interrogating the suspect. 

The Forensic team has arrived at the spot near the blast site located near gate no 1 of the Red Fort Metro station in Delhi. The Forensics team are collecting sample from the spot. Meanwhile, Delhi Police Commissioner Satish Golcha said, "Today at around 6.52 pm, a slow-moving vehicle stopped at the red light. An explosion happened in that vehicle, and due to the explosion, nearby vehicles were also damaged. All agencies, FSL, NIA, are here... Some people have died, and some have been injured in the incident. The situation is being monitored. The Home Minister has also called us, and information is being shared with him from time to time."

After the recovery of 360 kg of possible ammonium nitrate from Haryana's Faridabad, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has reportedly held a meeting with all senior police officials at Varsha this afternoon and reviewed the overall security situation. Now, after the incident in Delhi, he has once again instructed the police to remain vigilant. All agencies have been directed to remain alert.

ANI reported that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken stock of the situation in the wake of the blast in Delhi. He spoke to Union HM Amit Shah and took an update on the situation:

Moments after the explosion near Gate No. 1 of the Red Fort Metro Station, chaos gripped Chandni Chowk, located just opposite the blast site.

Due to the explosion at the Red Fort metro station, as a precautionary measure, the Delhi Police have restricted entry and exit from Gates No. 1 and 4 of the Lal Qila Metro Station.

Uttar Pradesh has been placed on red alert following the blast near the Red Fort Metro Station in Delhi. ADG Law & Order Amitabh Yash told ANI that the DGP has directed all districts to tighten security at religious sites, sensitive areas, and state borders. Police have been asked to increase patrols and checks, with all security agencies on high alert.
 

ANI reported that Deputy Chief Fire Officer AK Malik says, "We got information that there was a blast in a car near Chandni Chowk Metro Station. We responded immediately, and seven units were sent to the spot. At 7:29 PM, the fire was brought under control. There is a possibility that there are casualties in this. All our teams are present at the spot..."
 

15 people were taken to the Lok Nayak Hospital, eight of whom succumbed to their injuries, ANI quoted the hospital as saying. Three people are in a serious condition, while one is stable, ANI reported

ANI has reported, citing the Medical Superintendent, Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Narayan (LNJP) Hospital, that fifteen people have been brought to the hospital and eight of them died before reaching the hospital. Three are seriously injured.

In the aftermath of the Red Fort Metro Station explosion, Delhi Police have set up 15 new barricades across central Delhi — including Red Fort, Connaught Place (CP), and India Gate connecting routes.

In the area, there were 6 cars and 4 bikes which were there on the spot.

Teams from the Delhi Police and Bomb Disposal Squad arrived at the scene to assess the situation. The area around the metro station and Red Fort entry gate has been completely cordoned off.

The explosion led to a massive fire that engulfed 3 to 8 nearby vehicles. Firefighters rushed to the scene to control the blaze.

A loud explosion was reported outside Gate No. 1 of Red Fort Metro Station in central Delhi around 7:15 PM. Eyewitnesses said a car suddenly caught fire, triggering panic in the area.
