Tourist Influx In Shimla

Himachal Pradesh is witnessing a rush of tourists as the air quality continues to plummet in metro cities. The better air quality of Shimla has attracted tourists to the ‘Queen of Hills’. Influx of tourists will prove to be beneficial for the tourism industry of the state. One of the tourists visiting Shimla said, ‘The air quality in big cities like Delhi is terrible. Pollution levels are very high especially near Diwali. The weather here is great, we feel amazing. The temperature is also low here’. Another tourist said, ‘People will be attracted to places whether the air is clean. Everyone cares about their health. Due to drop in temperature and stubble burning the air quality in plains is suffering. The air quality index here is great hence people are coming here’.
