Bihar Board Class 12th Results 2022 Live Updates: 80.15% students pass, here's direct link

Bihar Secondary Education Board has announced that it will award a cash prize of Rs 15,000 and a laptop to 4th & 5th rank holders.

BSEB has announced that 1st rank holders from Class 12th will get a laptop, a cash prize of Rs One lakh, and a Kindle-e-book reader.

Second place holders will be awarded a cash prize of Rs 75,000, a laptop, and a kindle e-book reader.

BSEB announced that 3rd Rank holders will get Rs 50000/- cash prize along with a kindle e-book reader and a laptop.
 

Bihar Secondary Education Board has released a notification regarding the scrutiny of the answer sheet. All those students who are not satisfied with their results can apply for scrutiny between March 23 and March 30, 2022.

Shreya Kumari of UDM Girls Inter College, Katihar got 2nd rank. She got 94.2% by scoring 471 out of 500. Ritika Ratna of Gurukul SS School, Madhepura got 3rd rank by scoring 470 out 500 (94%).

BSEB Class 12 Result: Bihar Board has released the Class 12 result. This year 13.45 lakh students appeared in the Bihar Board class 12 examination. Out of which 80.15% of students cleared the exam. A total of 79.53% of students cleared the exam in the arts stream, 79.81% of students qualified for the exam from the Science stream, while, 90.38% students from the commerce stream qualified for the examination.

BSEB has declared the Bihar Board Class 12 Result. This year the overall passing percentage is 80.15%. Bihar education minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary will announce the BSEB inter result 2022. On the occasion, BSEB chairman Anand Kishor and additional chief secretary of Bihar education department will also be present.

Bihar Board vaccinated all the students who had to take part in board exams. The state's health department issued a letter and asked the district magistrates (DMs) and civil surgeons to constitute a task force to administer the COVID-19 vaccine to board exam students aged between 15 and 18, on a priority basis. 

"A state-wide drive for vaccinating adolescents between 15 and 18 years of age is already going on." As a large number of students are expected to participate in the state board exams and other educational board exams in the coming months, we aim to vaccinate all students falling into the eligible age category before January 26 for the health safety of students," said the additional chief secretary of the health department, Pratyay Amrit.

Bihar School Examination Board has earlier announced that it will be conducting the Bihar Board Class 10th and 12th special exams in April-May 2022. BSEB has announced that those candidates will be eligible who appeared in BSEB 10th and 12th Sent-up exam 2022 but could not fill the form due to negligence of schools or colleges. On the first day of the examination, a total of 74 students were expelled by the examination authorities. These students were found using unfair means during the examination. Four impersonators were also caught, of which two belonged to Supaul and one each from Jehanabad and Nalanda. A maximum number of students were expelled from Jamui and Nalanda. Read more.

The BSEB class 12th exam was conducted from February 1 to 14, 2022. The examination was conducted in two shifts, the first one from 9:30 am to 12:45 pm and the second one from 1:45 pm to 5 pm. An additional 15 minutes of "cool-off" time was also given to the students to read and analyse the questions.

In order to pass the BSEB annual intermediate exam, candidates need to score a minimum of 33% in every subject. Moreover, students are also required to qualify in theory and practical papers separately in subjects that have practical aspects.

In the year 2021, the pass percentage of the BSEB Inter exam recorded a decline as compared to the year 2020. The overall pass percentage of BSEB Class 12 in 2021 was 78.04 per cent. 

In the year 2021, Sonali Kumar had bagged the first rank in the Science stream. She scored 471 out of 500 marks. Sugandha Kumari had bagged the first spot in Commerce stream. Madhu Bharti and Kailash Kumar from arts streams were declared toppers. 

BSEB has already released the Bihar Board class 12th answer key for the objective questions that were asked in the exam. The BSEB inter answer key was released on March 3.
