How will the trapped workers be rehabilitated?

Rescue efforts at the Uttarkashi tunnel have started to show results. Only a few meters of distance is left in the tunnel for the workers to be rescued. All medical assistance is ready on standby for the 41 workers. 41 workers have been trapped inside the Silkyara tunnel at Uttarkashi in Uttarakhand since Nov 12. Experts from around the world have been called to assist in the rescue operations. Specialised machines were flown in to clear the debris and bring the trapped workers out. An auger machine was being used to dig out the tunnel but it failed after being stuck in the debris. After that manual drilling commenced.
