Viral News: The police officials have come across a bizarre case of kidnapping in Hyderabad. A 35-year-old woman from London, who claimed to have been "kidnapped" by a cab driver upon her arrival in the city, was found vacationing with him a week later.

The duo was reportedly caught while returning from Goa , where they had enjoyed a holiday together.

Police officials stated that after the woman went missing, her two children contacted their father to inform him about their mother’s disappearance. Her husband filed a complaint with Hyderabad police via email. This week, the police tracked her and the cab driver down in Goa .

According to a leading media outlet, a police officer said, "When the children called their father to inform him about their mother’s disappearance, he flew back to London and lodged a missing person complaint with us via email."

The Rajiv Gandhi International Airport police registered a missing person case, launching an investigation.

Police reported that both individuals were counseled, and the woman was sent back to London the following day. The cab driver was issued a warning after the woman admitted she had traveled to Goa of her own accord.

Reports suggest that the case came to light last week when the woman allegedly abandoned her two minor children in a park in London and flew to Hyderabad, where her husband, a software professional, was attending his mother's funeral.

"The complainant’s wife and children lived in Alwal until early September this year. She met the driver during a vacation and grew close to him over time," a police officer revealed.

Other family members alerted the husband in London about the situation. In mid-September, he called his wife and children over to London. About ten days ago, his mother passed away, for which he travelled to Hyderabad, leaving his wife and children in London. During his absence, his wife took a flight back to India.

“When the complainant initially contacted his wife after returning to London, she told him she had been kidnapped by a cab driver in Hyderabad. He asked her to stay put while he booked himself on the next flight. However, after trying to reach her again, he found her phone switched off,” the officer added.

The woman later sent her husband a video pleading for rescue, claiming she had been taken to an unknown location. Her husband promptly emailed the Cyberabad police commissioner and airport police to file a complaint.

“We apprehended her when both were returning to the city. She admitted she was not kidnapped and had gone with the cabbie to Goa voluntarily,” said K. Balaraju, SHO of the RGI Airport police station, to a leading media outlet.
