Satellite images show damage in Gaza strip

The conflict in the Gaza Strip continues to escalate, with Israeli airstrikes causing significant devastation in various parts of the region. This war, now in its 20th day, marks the deadliest of the five Gaza conflicts for both sides. In the occupied West Bank, more than 100 Palestinians have lost their lives, and 1,650 have been wounded in violence and Israeli raids since October 7. On the Israeli side, over 1,400 people have been reported killed, mainly civilians who perished during the initial Hamas incursion on October 7. Additionally, Israel's military has indicated that 222 people remain as hostages in Gaza, including foreigners believed to have been captured by Hamas during the conflict.
