Indian Army sets Radio Chinar in Kashmir's Kupwara

The Indian army has set up a community radio station by the name of Radio Chinar in Kashmir's Kupwara in a bid to connect with the locals and make them aware of the programs run by the government.  Chinar Corps Commander of Indian Amy inaugurated Community Radio Station . According to PRO Defence, CRS serves as a valuable platform for local engagement and providing voice to the community. Locals panchyat members and civilans also attended the inauguration event and thanked the army for taking up the initiative. Kupwara is a border district and is worst affected by narco terrorism. Security forces have taken a strict action against the narcotic smugglers and attached their properties in North Kashmir. PoK based terror groups are always pushing drugs into Kashmir.
