Israel Embassy attack: NIA, NSG continue probe
A day after the report of an explosion near the Israeli Embassy, central agencies continued the probe near the site on December 27. NIA, NSG, Dog Squads and other agencies visited the spot to carry out the investigation. Meanwhile, Israel called it possibly an “attack” and issued a fresh advisory for Israelis residing in India. Israel National Security Council advised its citizens to avoid venturing near crowded places. The Delhi Fire Service on Dec 26 received a call about a blast near the Israel Embassy in the Chanakyapuri area. After the blast, a letter addressed to the Israeli Ambassador was also found near the Israeli Embassy. Israel’s Deputy Envoy, Ohad Kaynar, informed that the workers and diplomats at the embassy are safe.
