India squad targets medal haul at Asian Para Games

The 2022 Asian Para Games began in Hangzhou, China on October 22. India has sent its biggest-ever contingent hoping for a medal haul this year. The Asian Para Games provide a platform for athletes from across the continent to showcase their abilities and compete at the highest level. As India sends its team of dedicated Para Power Lifters to represent the nation, the pride and hopes of an entire country travel with them. The Indian contingent recently won 107 medals at the Asian Games and the Asian Para games contingent would be eyeing the same.  India has sent its largest contingent ever of 303 athletes - 191 male and 112 female athletes - for what promises to be a medal-laden competition
