PM Narendra Modi elicits standing ovation

"India had a challenge since the last 70 years to which it bid farewell recently. Did you understand what I am talking about? Now J&K and Ladakh people have the rights enjoyed by the rest of India. The law which discriminated against women, children, Dalits have now been revoked. Our party has no majority in the Upper House. still then this was passed by a 2/3rd majority. I appeal to you to give a standing ovation to all the Indian Parliamentarians," he said.

PM Modi's comment on harbingers of terror

In a thinly veiled attack on Pakistan, PM Modi took down the terror backing elements and stated that the 'world knows who they are,' with US President Donald Trump seated in the front row. Speaking at the extravagant Howdy, Modi! event in Houston, Texas, PM Modi questioned where the masterminds of the terror attacks of 9/11 in New York and 26/11 Mumbai were found, taking an explicit dig at Pakistan, over Osama bin Laden and Hafiz Saeed. In his address, PM Modi even asserted that US President Trump is standing in a fight against terror.

PM Modi said, "Some people, who can't handle their own country, have a problem with what India is doing. They have made hatred towards India their political agenda. They are those people, who don't want peace and are supporters of terrorism, and breed terrorism. Not just you, but the entire world recognises them."
