Russia President Vladimir Putin, treated his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan to ice cream as the world leaders took in the sites at the Moscow International Aviation and Space Salon (MAKS 2019) on Tuesday.
The heads of Russia and Turkey took a break from inspecting the range of Russian aviation hardware to indulge their sweet tooths at the sun-drenched Zhukovsky International Airport.
After choosing their ice creams, the woman manning the counter informed the Presidents that the bill was 210 rubles ($3.20). Following which in an amusing banter, the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan wondered aloud as to who would stump up the cash.
Here's how the banter went:
Recep Tayyip Erdogan said, "Aren't you paying for my ice-cream."
To which, Vladimir Putin responded saying, "Of course, you are my guest."
