The mother of the Hadid siblings, Yolanda Hadid was also present at the event to encourage her children. She even shared photographs and videos of her children walking the runway on social media. The New York Fashion Week, held in February and September of every year, is a semi-annual fashion show held for a duration of about 7 to 9 days. It counts in one of four major fashion events in the world along with those in Paris, London, and Milan. The Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) took up the initiative and created the modern notion of a centralized “New York Fashion Week” in 1993. The fashion festival has a huge economic impact, with an estimate of around 887 million US Dollars.
